Say "Hello" to Mint Boutique

Mint Boutique opens February 2017!

The retail scene in #DowntownDublin is set to be trendier than ever in 2017. Mint Boutique, an upscale women's clothier owned and operated by Kelly Hightower, will relocate to 132 W. Jackson Street early next year.

Making a State-"Mint"

Making the move (and investment) in downtown was a big decision for seasoned retailer, Kelly Hightower, but once she found just the right space, she jumped in head first -- now, that's the kind we like! We are over the moon about Kelly's vision for the former Oatts Drugs building, which is getting a major makeover as we speak.

Plans for Mint Boutique's new location include a full interior renovation with a modern-industrial feel and nearly double the showroom space. The exterior facade is slated for an upgrade, too, with a refresh of the awning, new lighting and signage.

Here's where we came in...

Kelly worked closely with our DDA team to apply for her Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) through the City's Historic Review Board and a facade grant for the outside improvements to her new space. Because she met historic design guidelines and is updating a downtown storefront, Kelly was awarded a matching $4,000 grant from DDA to help with the work on the building. How awesome is that?

We are so proud that Mint Boutique will call #DowntownDublin home in just a few short weeks. Thanks, Kelly for your investment and your vision!

Happy shopping everyone!
