Take a book, leave a book

Update: We hope to have our first Little Free Library launched in January 2017!

By now you may have seen them. Tiny libraries are popping up all over the country. Some are small and simple, others are large and intricate, all of them creating a movement. The idea is simple really. It's a book exchange for both adults and children to help promote literacy. You may take a book anytime you like. All that's asked is that you leave a book that you no longer need for the next person to enjoy. Amazing, right?

Check out Little Free Library for more information.

Let's build a Little Free Library

Over the last few months we've considered adding a Little Free Library in Downtown Dublin. Well, the stars aligned several weeks ago when the Young Professionals of Dublin-Laurens County agreed to help make it happen. During their October social, the Young Professionals will be collecting books to stock the new library. We've got a carpenter willing to lend his talents so now all we need is a design and a location. Have any ideas? The possibilities are endless, really. Who knows? We may have Little Free Libraries all over Dublin.

Here are a few designs we're loving lately. If you have any thoughts or ideas, feel free to reach out.
