The Dublin Downtown Development Authority is seeking a driven, energetic, entrepreneurial, and well-organized person to serve as its full-time Executive Director. The Executive Director is responsible for coordinating downtown revitalization activities in Dublin, Georgia, utilizing the Main Street Approach™. The Executive Director oversees downtown investment projects, historic rehabilitation and financial incentives, community partnerships, business relations, and the operation of four public facilities including: Theatre Dublin, the Dublin Carnegie, Market on Madison, and Bicentennial Plaza.
Applicants should be passionate about downtown revitalization and community development and have education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: economic development, downtown district management, public relations, marketing, planning, business administration, public administration, historic preservation or business development. Bachelor’s degree and experience required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
